IDI offers a go-at-your-own-pace approach in the most thorough training program to increase your potential reach in serving families immediately after completion of training.
We are the only doula certification program to utilize experts in complementary fields throughout the curriculum so that you are getting the most experienced training available. Pediatricians and neonatologists who work with newborns every day, OBGYNs, RNs, and midwives who work with expecting and postpartum women every day. Social workers and psychotherapists who work with expecting and postpartum moms every day. By gaining the input of these professionals, we really get a whole family, multidisciplinary approach to becoming a doula.

The International Doula Institute (IDI) designed our curriculum based on the progressive model of Authentic Assessment.
